Elliott Thomas provided a comprehensive logistics package for the £11 million transformation of
Barnsley’s Grade II listed Civic Hall into a creative arts and specialist retail centre.
The company was awarded the contract given their unique knowledge and expertise in managing busy town centre construction sites. Access was extremely restricted and therefore the company implemented a streamlined approach to ensure that traffic disruption was minimised to the surrounding road areas.
Elliott Thomas provided the following services:
- Welfare accommodation
- Pre-construction planning
- Waste management
- Traffic management – vehicular and pedestrian segregation
- Fire marshalling and fire points
- Material management and distribution utilising forklifts and the company’s own Deliver E-Manager
- Physical security – hoardings and site signage

- Wheel washing/Road sweeping
- Induction presentations
