Elliott Thomas is carrying out a full logistics package on the refurbishment of two key office buildings for the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) in Edinburgh.
Work is being carried out on levels 5, 4, 3 and 1 at RBS Dundas while the RBS employees remain working on level 2. Liaising with the client on a daily basis has been paramount to ensure the health and safety of all the employees given the ‘live’ status of the site.
In addition there are approx 180 vehicles using the car park at RBS Fettes Row. A key aspect of the contract is for Elliott Thomas to employ its specialist traffic management process to ensure that construction traffic is pulled out of the public highways as quickly and efficiently as
possible.
Elliott Thomas will be providing the following services:
- Pre-construction
- Traffic management – fire marshalling and fire points
- Waste management
- Hoists
- Induction presentations
- Emergency response
- Multi-service crew
- Material management and distribution – delivery and coordination of trade materials to and around site utilising Deliver E-Manager software
- Internal and external site safety signage |
