| Howe Dell School, Hertfordshire |
The Howe Dell School became the UK’s first fully
ecologically sustainable educational establishment in
September 2007. This £8.3M contract incorporated
ground-breaking environmental technology including
wind turbines, solar panelling water recycling and a
‘living’ sedum roof.
This 2 storey, 55,000 sq ft building was created for
Hertfordshire County Council to encompass their vision
of a flagship environment, setting new standards
in energy efficient design, construction and
environmental sensitivity.
Elliott Thomas provided a full logistics package
for the project including the utilisation of their own
proprietary software system Deliver E-Manager to track
deliveries.
