The Bridge Academy is a £27 million educational development, designed to bring much needed secondary school places to South Hackney, a dense and under-serviced urban setting.
Located on a brownfield site alongside the Union Canal, the 10,250 square metre building replaces temporary facilities already in use by staff and pupils. As such, the project demanded
a solution that covered all security angles, without disrupting the establishment’s daily activities.
