In 2008, Oxford University’s Old Road Campus was provided with a fourth storey roof extension and a link bridge from the extension to an existing building.
This challenging redevelopment required a number of specialist services and trades to enable the substructure, superstructure, envelope and metalwork design and construction.
To ensure genuine cost effectiveness, Elliott Thomas’ construction team lead an in-depth value engineering exercise on the Structure and Envelope as well as providing management for the live site and coordinating the diverse trades required for the project.
