Leading specialist contractor Elliott Thomas will be playing a key role in moving nearly a hundred tenants into a major new shopping centre in Glasgow.
Work is nearly complete at the 1 million square foot Silverburn Mall, replacing the considerably smaller Pollok Centre, and is expected to attract visitors from as far afield as Kilmarnock and Dunfermline.
It will be anchored by major retailers like Tesco (already open), Next, Marks & Spencer and Debenhams, along with more than a dozen restaurants and cafes.
Under its £430,000 contract with developer Bovis Lend Lease, Elliott Thomas will be providing a complete tenant logistics package, with up to 24 hour a day coverage for 12 weeks.
This will involve managing traffic and deliveries with the company’s innovative Deliver E-Manager software, removing and disposing waste, progressive cleaning and providing forklift drivers for the majority of the new retailers.
Elliott Thomas’ contract at Silverburn Mall is due to be completed in October 2007.
